Bio

I graduated from Michigan State University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. I then attended Lewis and Clark College Graduate School of Education for my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. I graduated in 2006 with a specialization in addiction studies. Since graduating from Lewis and Clark I have worked in a variety of settings including work with domestic and sexual violence survivors, LGBTQ survivors of trauma, people in substance abuse recovery, as well as crisis work in a hospital setting. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2011. I hold a certificate from the  Sexual Health Certificate Program at the University of Michigan with a focus on Sex Therapy.
